Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & governance — Develop and own the strategy, governance framework, and procedural documentation for the Management Review process (including the Quality Council network), advancing the program toward a more predictive, data-driven state and supporting the organization's broader Quality Culture goals, while ensuring alignment with evolving global regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Meeting leadership — Lead the planning, preparation, and facilitation of Enterprise-level and GMP/GDP Quality Council meetings, including agendas, materials, logistics, charter maintenance, minutes, and stakeholder prep to ensure robust engagement and discussion.
• Enterprise Quality Council action tracking — Capture, track, and drive accountability for action items arising from the Enterprise Quality Council, ensuring timely report out and closure with responsible stakeholders.
• Predictive insight & data integration — Analyze quality performance data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern; partner with QRM, External Engagement, Quality Metrics, Competitive Compliance, and other GxP functions to integrate internal and external data, delivering insights that drive proactive, predictive discussion and risk mitigation at Quality Councils.
• Issue resolution & effectiveness verification — For issues identified through predictive insight and data analysis, partner cross-functionally to identify appropriate actions, drive mitigation and improvement efforts, and verify the effectiveness of implemented actions to ensure the issue is fully resolved.
• Process improvement & streamlining — Identify and address gaps in the current Management Review and Quality Council process — including cadence, structure, materials, and workflows — to reduce burden, eliminate redundancy, and streamline execution; evolve toward a continuously-monitored, sustainable state as the program matures.
• Cross-functional risk surfacing — Partner with Product Quality, Site, and CMO leads to surface key risks, concerns, and mitigation strategies from their respective areas, bringing this input to the Enterprise Quality Council to drive meaningful discussion and identify where additional support or escalation is needed.
• Predictive analytics tool development — Lead the design and development of a data-driven tool to support Quality Council discussions, integrating internal and external data sources to proactively surface key risks and answer critical questions that inform decision-making across the organization.
• Executive & Board support — Gather information needed to support the Head of Global Quality in preparing quality updates and materials for BMS Leadership Team and Board of Directors quarterly reviews, translating complex quality data into clear executive narratives that drive understanding and action.
• Council lead network & capability building — Build and sustain a network across Quality Council leads to share best practices, drive consistency, and build facilitation and analytical capability across the council structure.
• Quality Council KPIs — Assess and improve the current Quality Council metrics/KPIs, working to shift the set from lagging toward more leading indicators that can surface emerging risks earlier and support more proactive discussion and action.
• External intelligence & benchmarking — Maintain external networks and benchmark Quality Council/Management Review practices against industry peers and regulatory expectations to inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.S. or B.A. in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, engineering, biology, or other related discipline; Master's or advanced degree preferred.
• At least 15 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in a Manufacturing, Quality, Technical, or Regulatory role, or a combination thereof, and/or experience working with a regulatory health authority; prior experience with Management Review or Quality Council processes strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; experience with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire) preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing or governing enterprise-level quality processes, including procedural documentation and process standardization across a global organization.
• Ability to identify and implement phase-appropriate compliance strategies to support the end-to-end product lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to apply effective risk management approaches that provide a proactive means of identifying and controlling potential quality issues.
• In-depth knowledge of quality systems principles and applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed teams to investigate and manage quality and compliance-related issues.
• Demonstrated ability to act decisively while balancing speed, quality, and risk; ability to think clearly and remain calm under adverse conditions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams in a complex, changing environment, building strong relationships through transparency, reliability, and follow-through.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including executive storytelling — demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership and executive audiences.
• Ability to provide innovative, compliant solutions and alternatives that create value, including seeking new information and external insights.
• Pragmatic approach with demonstrated ability to make sound, risk-based decisions.
• OPEX/Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Travel: This position requires up to 15% travel.

Compensation Overview:

Devens - MA - US: $200,940 - $243,492 Madison - Giralda - NJ - US: $187,790 - $227,558 New Brunswick - NJ - US: $187,790 - $227,558 Princeton - NJ - US: $187,790 - $227,558

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.
