Analyst, Investment Management Group

Responsibilities Underwrite investment properties, establishing monthly rental rate, property value and required capital investment. Verify, change or create underwriting assumptions on potential real estate investments. Employ excellent Excel skills and an in‑depth understanding of financial modeling related to underwriting deals, including DCF, IRR, Cap Rates, NPV, YOY and other metrics. Implement and interpret a real estate market analysis. Track economic and performance indicators for new acquisitions. Conduct market surveys and other market analysis. Provide timely interpretation of data for recommendations. Analyze existing investments and provide reporting on investment activity. Assist with due diligence of investments. Prepare recommendations for improving investment and management processes. Monitor and evaluate financial and operating results daily. Maintain listing rents based on internal and external market conditions. Monitor progress of all acquisition channels. Participate in Regional Investment and Operations calls as needed. Complete projects assigned by the SVP of Investments and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field. Quantitative degree or supportive coursework preferred. Minimum 1–4 years of financial modeling experience, with real‑estate focus preferable but not required. Expertise in MS Office, especially MS Excel. Superior analytical abilities. High degree of intellectual curiosity. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills: ability to relate to and get along with others. Self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership. Working knowledge of accounting software systems. Ability to perform advanced mathematical and accounting functions. Cash forecasting, planning and management skills. Ability to read and comprehend financial statements. Strong team‑based orientation. Facilitation and presentation skills for large groups. Strong time‑management skills. Problem‑solving abilities. Multi‑tasking capability. Goal‑setting and goal‑achievement ability. Consistent deadline adherence. Demonstrated geographic knowledge of the local market.
