Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) - Auburn Auburn, WA Substance Use Disorder Professional Location: Auburn, WA – We Care Daily Clinics Reports To: SUDP Supervisor Compensation: $72,000 – $90,000, based on experience as a fully licensed SUDP. Join Our Mission! We Care Daily Clinics (WCDC) is a modern facility that provides treatment for addiction in a person‑centered environment located in Auburn. WCDC renews hope and purpose for those battling opioid use by removing barriers, offering a holistic approach to recovery, and using evidence‑based treatment to restore healthy living. Our top priority is to provide the highest levels of patient‑centered care. WCDC is an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) facility using FDA‑approved medication paired with behavioral health counseling. Individual service plans are built around patients in a supportive, safe environment to create a personalized pathway to recovery, plus planned patient transportation and family/social support. What You'll Do: Ensure implementation of all clinic policies and treatment procedures; recommend updates as necessary. Provide individual counseling and case management services to assigned patients. Maintain professional boundaries with patients and coworkers. Promptly and accurately complete progress notations of all interactions in patient files. Prepare and submit: Initial treatment plans Ongoing treatment plans Responses to positive urinalysis/breathalyzer results Administrative detoxification notices Letters of assistance and referral Closing treatment summaries for discharged patients Daily activity forms Required state and agency recording forms Maintain regular communication with the MSO and attend meetings as requested. Ensure confidentiality of all patients and integrity of professional communication. Serve as a leader or co‑leader of therapy or educational groups and provide other treatment activities. Meet with primary supervisor for patient clinical consultation, skill development, and review of documentation and treatment planning. Coordinate assigned patient treatment with other staff departments. Participate in Treatment Team meetings to review progress, status, and address patient appeals of administrative actions and program non‑compliance issues. Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures. Participate in Federal and State substance use training and continuing education as needed. Interact with all staff positively, supporting the company’s mission and best practice patient experience. Support the mission with all other duties as assigned. What You Bring: Academic training in the social service field and chemical dependency treatment as required for a Department of Health licensed Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) under WAC. Maintain current Washington Department of Health CDP license and complete continuing education during employment. Minimum two years of experience in the social service field and chemical dependency treatment. Experience in an opioid treatment program is preferred. LMHC desired but not required. Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of substance use treatment planning and counseling issues. Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems; proactive in keeping current with technology. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, and outside contacts from diverse backgrounds. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner. Must pass required background checks and comply with all testing, screening, and credentialing requirements.
