Maintenance Planner

Maintenance Planner in Muskogee, OK. Responsible for improving workforce productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. Salary is $26.00 - $38.86 per hour. Shift is Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (including holidays, weekends and overtime as needed). Planner assigned to Wet End. What You Will Do Assist Operations Department with balancing their needs for runtime maintenance services as well as equipment reliability by identifying pro‑active maintenance solutions Responsible for long‑range as well as short‑range planning. Long‑range planning involves regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources. Short‑range planning is planning for more pressing jobs Plan and schedule for shutdowns (major and minor), utilizing tools such as Gantt charts (Microsoft Project), Critical Path Analysis, and resource leveling Attend outage management meetings bringing planning status of identified jobs and accepting new or modified actions and updating job plans Create scope of work (SOW) utilizing GP standardized template provided to Purchasing for sourcing of contracted resources as required. Provide support for discovery work as needed during an outage. Develop and maintain the Planner reference systems including a file of Planned Job Packages for recurring jobs standard job tasks plus labor and material libraries for each piece of equipment Field visits to determine: Risks and site conditions (including EHS), permits required, and drawings Labor required and craft or resources (internal and/or external) required Expected job duration, parts (components), tools and equipment needed Sequence of tasks and documentation needed Creation and updates to model work orders/task lists/job plans inside the CMMS (i.e. Passport, SAP) based on work order feedback Ensure Work Orders are meaningful, accurate and valid historical data is captured in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Leverage AMWP dashboards/Reports to drive process improvement and gap closure Manages and prepares ready for planning backlog based on priorities set by Gatekeeper. Reviews completed work order feedback from task performers and ensures necessary follow‑up required by Planner is completed. Bills of Materials (parts lists) Management for assets Add parts to Bill of Material (BOM) when planning work orders Monitor parts used "not on the BOM" Update the BOM as needed Request new items as required (GPID inside the CMMS) Partner with Reliability Professional (site defined) to identify changes and improve the system (MoC) Partner with Platform Owner to identify changes and improve the Platform (MoC) Keep the Maintenance Supervisors informed of abnormal or critical situations and seek advice on matters outside the Planner's knowledge or authority Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Maintenance, Production, and Reliability Leadership Demonstrate high initiative, attention to details, and ability to work safely and efficiently both as a team and independently Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) High School Diploma or GED Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project Experience with a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) Two (2) years of experience in a maintenance related role What Will Put You Ahead Experience in Maintenance related role in a Manufacturing Plant Associate degree or higher in project Management, Business or Technical field Experience with the SAP platform for maintenance work orders Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
