About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Origination to spearhead the expansion of its proprietary sourcing and business development activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with the entrepreneurial challenge of identifying and engaging potential acquisition targets, developing market intelligence, and managing outreach campaigns. This pivotal role involves building and maintaining CRM systems, target company databases, and market intelligence resources, as well as nurturing relationships with business owners, advisors, and industry stakeholders. The Head of Origination will also be responsible for qualifying opportunities and collaborating with senior leadership on transaction-related discussions, all while leveraging data, technology, and automation tools to enhance sourcing effectiveness and pipeline management. Applicants for the Head of Origination position at the company should have a background in business development, deal origination, private equity, corporate development, investment banking, sales, or market intelligence. The role requires a professional with strong communication, research, and relationship-building skills, who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. Experience with CRM platforms, outbound prospecting, and a preference for data-driven decision-making is also desirable.
