Make a Difference as a Physical Therapist in Greensburg, KY (Hospital Setting)

Are you a compassionate and driven Physical Therapist ready to help patients regain movement, strength, and independence? We are seeking a dedicated PT to join our rehabilitation team in a hospital-based setting in Greensburg, Kentucky , where your clinical expertise will support patients through every stage of recovery-whether in acute care, post-surgical rehab, or outpatient therapy.

What You'll Do

Conduct Patient Assessments

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop tailored rehabilitation plans for a wide range of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative care.

Execute Rehabilitation Techniques

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as strength and balance training, mobility exercises, manual therapy, and use of assistive equipment to promote functional independence.

Track Patient Improvement

• Monitor patient progress, update treatment plans as needed, and work toward measurable rehabilitation goals in both short- and long-term recovery.

Collaborate with Healthcare Teams

• Partner with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow therapists to provide coordinated, whole-patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Educate and Empower Patients

• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, post-discharge planning, and strategies to prevent re-injury and maintain health.

Promote Wellness and Early Mobility

• Advocate for early mobilization, fall prevention, and long-term wellness practices as part of every patient's care plan.

Qualifications

Education:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Licensure & Certification:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Kentucky
• Specialty certifications (e.g., geriatrics, orthopedics, neuro) are a plus

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a hospital or clinical rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and adaptability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and priorities effectively
