We are a growing small construction company specializing in residential and light commercial construction. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, safety, and strong client relationships. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Plumber with experience to join our team.
Position Summary
The Licensed Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas piping systems in new construction and renovation projects. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems in residential and light commercial construction projects
- Install, test, and inspect natural gas and propane piping systems
- Connect and service gas appliances (water heaters, furnaces, ranges, fireplaces, etc.)
- Perform pressure testing and leak detection
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Install water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances
- Diagnose and repair plumbing and gas system issues
- Ensure all plumbing and gas work meets local building codes and safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe job site
Qualifications
- Valid state plumbing license (Journeyman or Master Plumber)
- 3+ years of plumbing experience preferred
- Experience with natural gas and propane systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various job site conditions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in new construction and remodeling
- Backflow certification
- Experience working in a small construction company environment
