Job Title: Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Shift Start Time: 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, stage, rotate, and transport raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods using FIFO methods.
• Use scanner guns for receiving, shipping, inventory counts, order picking, stock rotation, and documentation.
• Support blending and pack-out operations by staging materials, removing waste, organizing pallets, and preparing work areas for sanitation.
• Receive and ship materials by verifying quantities, completing load and unload documentation, pre-staging orders, and loading trucks.
• Maintain clean and organized indoor and outdoor work areas, including warehouse floors, docks, yards, and cold storage areas.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and immediately report equipment or safety concerns.
• Assist with cooling processes, 12-pallet/tube operations, inventory management, and other warehouse functions as needed.
• Follow all GMP, OSHA, food safety, and company safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift operating experience required.
• Experience using scanner guns required.
• Forklift certification preferred (company certification available if needed).
• Basic math skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
