Activities Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate professional to support engaging, person-centered activities for individuals in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating group and individual activities Prepare materials and equipment needed for daily programs and events Encourage participation and help create a supportive, enjoyable atmosphere Set up and clean up activity spaces before and after events Support transportation or escort needs related to activities when appropriate Maintain accurate records of participation, supplies, and activity schedules Collaborate with team members to ensure activities are safe, engaging, and inclusive Communicate with participants in a respectful, professional, and friendly manner Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in recreation, hospitality, caregiving, customer service, or a related field is helpful Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain a positive and patient approach in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication Preferred Attributes Creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging others Dependable, flexible, and willing to take initiative Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect Ability to adapt activities to meet a range of interests and needs What We Offer A supportive and team-oriented workplace Opportunities to make a meaningful difference each day Training and ongoing development as needed A rewarding environment focused on connection and engagement #J-18808-Ljbffr
