Nuclear Medicine Technologist Full-Time | Competitive Pay Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Key Responsibilities: Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and other related diagnostic tests. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as prescribed by physicians. Ensure patient safety by following proper protocols for handling and disposing of radioactive materials. Monitor and assess patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team to analyze results and assist in creating treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on nuclear medicine procedures and any necessary pre- or post-test instructions. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) required. Current state licensure, if applicable. Strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
