Commercial Underwriting Assistant -Hybrid

Role Overview The Commercial Underwriting Assistant works with the Commercial Title team to support the closing and recording of national commercial real estate transactions, ranging from single‑site to high‑liability multi‑site deals. Responsibilities Support the closing process by preparing invoices, routing title comments and underwriting requests, ordering title and tax updates, assembling and calculating pricing information, and recording fees and transfer tax information. Review and interpret commercial real estate documents. Audit ALTA surveys and legal documents for accuracy. Communicate recording information and prepare legal property documents such as proforma policies and endorsements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of title‑related experience preferred. Passion for customer service with a professional and positive attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, problem‑solving abilities, and eagerness to learn. Natural curiosity and enjoyment of researching transaction history. Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel and Adobe. Ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies. Compensation Pay Range: $23.37 – $31.14 per hour. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
