HR Administrative Assistant Internship

HR Intern

Balanced Body is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Intern to support the Human Resources team for up to 2-months. This internship provides hands-on experience across a variety of HR functions including employee engagement, records management, and event coordination. The intern will collaborate with multiple departments and gain valuable real-world skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Intern will support the following ongoing and project-based activities:

• Employee Engagement & Recognition

Assist in updating and maintaining the BB Photo Wall to reflect current team members

Participate in and support Fresh Team activities and other company events as scheduled

• HR Records & File Management

File active & terminated employee records under the supervision of HR staff

Scan and digitize termination file boxes in coordination with HR team members

Assist with organizing and maintaining the HR storage room

Support preparation and assembly of new hire onboarding packets

Requirements

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Learn to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn

Work Schedule

This position is onsite and part-time, 3-days per week, Monday to Friday.
