Quality Assurance Specialist

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST for the NAVAL AIR STATION. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing quality monitoring and inspection of new and repaired electrical ALRE and SE systems/equipment such as fiber optic cables, circuit cards, wire harnesses, position sensors, and power supplies; Utilizing checklists, blueprints, test directives, and/or system technical manuals to inspect materials and components under repair/overhaul; Conducting audits of products and processes to ensure compliance and to detect processing and technical documentation deficiencies; Supporting engineering and quality investigations of equipment found to cause problems in the Fleet; Providing QA advice and/or recommendations to manufacturing or design engineers regarding inspection and test procedures and alternatives to designs, specifications, materials, and production methods or processes.
