Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires flexibility and the willingness to float to the Emergency Room (ER) when necessary within a small critical access facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting progress and changes in health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate support in ER situations.

Shift Details

• Shift: 12-hour Night Shifts
• Weekly Guarantee: 36 hours
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Work Week: Sunday to Saturday

Facilities Information

• Critical Access Hospital with a total of 25 beds, including 2 observation beds and 21 long-term care (LTC) beds.
• Emergency Department comprised of 2 beds, typically serving around 40 patients per month.
• The RN will cover one hall, administer medications, and respond to emergencies in the ER when required.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
