Junior Structural Engineer

Startup Company Seeking Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our workforce as a Junior Engineer. The Ideal Candidate: Bachelor/Masters of Civil or Structural Engineering and between 2 to 5 years’ experience. Proficient in ETABS, Safe, Sap, Revit, CAD, Excel for Engineering. Proficient with Florida Building Codes. Must have a good level of English. Technical Responsibilities: Performing Required Structural Checks, as well as interpret and revise engineering drawings. Structural Modeling using ETABS, SAFE and SAP. Ability to Coordinate between Structural and Different Departments (Arch & MEP) Preparation of design, including reviewing plans, calculations. Reinforced Concrete Structure Design (Columns, Beams, Walls, Slabs) Participate in contract bidding and administration. Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff. Adjacent Property Survey Inspections. Vibration Monitoring Inspections. Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to project. Part-time/ Full-time opportunity.
