About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a strategic financial executive, providing the financial vision, operational insight, and leadership necessary to support the company's growth. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading all financial functions, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and developing financial strategies that align with the company's goals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing banking relationships, bonding programs, insurance, and financial compliance, as well as strengthening internal controls and financial processes. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience within the commercial construction industry, with a background that includes roles such as CFO, VP of Finance, or Controller for a General Contractor. Comprehensive knowledge of construction accounting, WIP reporting, job costing, and experience with construction ERP systems is essential. The role requires a professional with a strong ability to partner with executive leadership, excellent communication, and team development skills. A CPA designation is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, committed to operational excellence, and capable of fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
