Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience License: Valid state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: ICU experience required NIHSS certification required CRRT experience required Balloon Pump experience required Holiday availability required Every other weekend availability required Floating to Progressive Care unit if needed required Description: The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team. The RN is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests. The RN will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills are required. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Compassion, integrity, collaboration, and excellence are core values upheld in this role.
