Automotive Tire Technician

About Us: Southern Tire is a trusted, locally owned auto and tire service center located in the heart of Metairie for over 55 years. We pride ourselves on keeping our community moving safely by delivering top-tier tire care and honest, efficient service. We are looking for an energetic, reliable Tire Technician to join our growing shop! What You’ll Do: Tire Services: Safely mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires for cars and light trucks. Repairs: Inspect, assess, and repair punctured or damaged tires. Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance including fluid checks, filter replacements, and oil changes. Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, organized bay area and strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures. What You Bring: Valid Driver’s License. Must be at least 18 years old Reliable Transportation to get to work Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting. A strong focus on safety, great teamwork, and a positive, customer-first attitude.
