What You'll Do:
- Assess and prioritize emergency patient needs using the nursing process
- Provide direct patient care in the ER, including administering treatments and medications
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Adapt care strategies to meet the diverse needs of emergency patients
What You Need:
- Required:
- Current active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
- Certification in a clinical specialty
- Proficiency with healthcare software and technology
- Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills
