Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Description Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health. Full‑time position located in Danbury, CT with a Monday‑Friday schedule and no call responsibility. Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient care for gastroenterology patients. See patients in the outpatient office and hospital settings. Work within a Monday‑Friday schedule with no on‑call duties. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the medical team. Qualifications The ideal candidate is a board‑certified PA or NP with at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology. Board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Experience working with hepatobiliary services. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). New York State PA or NP license. Federal DEA registration. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology preferred.
