Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurses!

Job Description:


- Shift: Nights (3x12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week)
- Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
- Call: Required as needed (minimal)
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to NICU and ED as needed

- 12 all-private single patient rooms
- Family Consultation Room for discussing care plans

Requirements:


- Minimum 24 months of PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care experience (required)
- Must be willing to float to NICU and ED patient holds (required)
- PALS (AHA) certification (required)
- EPIC EMR experience (required)
- Preferred Equipment Experience:
- Vents and high flow
- Alaris IV pumps and feeding pumps

Submission Requirements:


- Work history/resume must include 24 months of current PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care experience (required)
- Skills Checklist specific to PICU (required)
- Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate at time of submission (required)
- Professional Reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (required)
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- PALS (AHA) certification (required)
