Registered Nurse - Clinic

Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for inmate patients served in the clinical areas.

Qualifications

Education

• Required
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited program of nursing
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing

• Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Master’s degree in Nursing

Experience:

• Preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in nursing

Certification/Licensure:

• Required
  • Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to Practice in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
• Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
