Role Overview Seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive care in a gastroenterology setting, focusing on patient assessment, procedural support, recovery, and education. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure safe, efficient, and personalized patient experiences. Key duties include preparing equipment, administering sedation, monitoring patients, assisting with procedures, and providing post-procedure care and discharge instructions. Responsibilities Prepare supplies, equipment, and medications for procedures. Perform pre-procedure assessments, establish IV access, and administer sedation. Assist during procedures, handle pathology specimens, and ensure procedural flow. Monitor patients post-procedure, assess safety, and provide discharge education. Maintain logs, manage inventory, and support clinical documentation using electronic systems. Assist with room turnover and follow-up communications. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license; BSN preferred. BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Minimum two years of RN experience; procedural or endoscopy experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity for medical procedures. Visual acuity for patient assessment and documentation. Comfort working with blood, bodily fluids, and PPE usage. Capable of responding swiftly in emergencies in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
