**Certification/Licenses:** - A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required. - State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License. - BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association. **Education:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Two-year allied health education program that is patient care related preferred. **Preferred Allied Health Occupations:** - Diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and/or registered nurse. **Skills:** - Ability to communicate effectively. - Demonstrates strong organizational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with others from a variety of disciplines. - Ability to work at a rapid pace under stressful conditions. - Manual dexterity to perform echocardiograms. **Experience:** - Two years of actively doing echocardiograms preferred.
