Industrial Electrical Technician

Location: Moncure, NC, US, 27559 What we are looking for: High school diploma Significant industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required Demonstrated electrical and technical aptitude Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience Experience with AC motor control (including drives) Electrical troubleshooting experience What we offer: Comprehensive health plans, wellness programs, gym reimbursement, pet/legal insurance, life insurance options, and more Paid maternity/paternity leave, competitive vacation, company/floating holidays Retirement planning with generous employer contributions Learning and development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement In this role, you would: Conduct installation, maintenance, preventive/predictive maintenance, setup, troubleshooting, and repair of mill machinery Provide electrical support for hydraulics, pneumatics, hot oil systems, pumps, fans, and conveyors Replace motors (low/high voltage), motor starters, sensors, and variable frequency drives Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, associated I/O, and control networks Maintain mill power distribution (480V–13.8kV) Document work in the CMMS Promote safe work practices (LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, etc.) Physical Requirements: Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders Perform tasks involving bending, stooping, and crouching for equipment inspection and maintenance Lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds of force occasionally or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently Conduct physical tasks requiring lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects Stand and walk for extended periods in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels, and varying temperatures Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations Physical activity, including standing, climbing, and lifting, is required Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory May include working irregular hours, such as nights, weekends, and holidays, and being on call for emergencies #J-18808-Ljbffr
