Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain ACLS competency and respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of Emergency Room experience within the past 3 years
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
