Job Description
The CNC Operator independently operates CNC mills to machine aluminum and steel components, supporting accurate, efficient production while reporting to a production supervisor. The role contributes to the quality workflow through first-piece inspection, in-process inspection, and coordinate measuring machine inspection.
Location: Bartow, FL
Responsibilities
- Set up CNC mills for production runs.
- Perform tool changes and load aluminum and steel materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections.
- Perform dimensional measurements and support coordinate measuring machine inspection.
- Complete routine machine maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
- Track production activities and results.
- Follow safety procedures and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in CNC machining.
- Experience with CNC machine operation and blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of precision measurement and quality control.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Able to heavy lift and stand for long periods of time.
Monday to Friday
6am to 3:30pm
$20.00 hourly pay
Benefits applicable after probation period is completed.
