Pay: $25.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing team. This position is responsible for managing daily accounts receivable functions, processing customer payments, invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have previous AR experience, a solid accounting background, experience using an ERP system, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process daily credit card deposits and customer payments.
• Invoice shipped orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor email communications related to customer accounts and billing.
• Process and record PayPal payments and other electronic payment methods.
• Release customer orders that have been placed on hold after payment verification.
• Record incoming customer payments, including:
  • Wire transfers
  • ACH payments
  • Customer checks
  • Online marketplace payments
  • Other electronic payment methods
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and billing disputes.
• Void credit card transactions for canceled orders when necessary.
• Process invoice corrections, including sales tax adjustments and customer discounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and customer account information.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely payment processing and issue resolution.
• Assist with additional accounting and accounts receivable duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable experience required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience working within an ERP system is required.
• QuickBooks experience alone is not sufficient.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
