Job Summary
Pediatric Operating Room (OR) Nurse or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is needed at a children's hospital located in Savannah. This role involves providing specialized surgical care exclusively for pediatric patients. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no on-call, weekends, or holidays, dedicated to supporting a state-of-the-art facility that recently opened less than two years ago.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. or 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.; minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN or CST license, pediatric surgical experience, BLS certification, at least 1 year of relevant experience, located within commuting distance to Savannah, Georgia
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric trauma, orthopedic, ENT, neuro skills; circulating or scrub procedure experience in pediatric general, orthopedic, ENT, eyes, and neuro surgery
• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with Stryker, microscopes, Neptune systems, and Carm equipment. Staff utilize Epic documentation system. Unit policies include a dress code (navy and black scrubs for RNs, blue for CSTs), and the team is supported by a coordinator. The hospital emphasizes new technology, staff tenure, and a supportive, family-like working environment.
