Software Engineer, System Experience

Cupertino, California, United States Software and Services The System Experience team is looking for a proactive and highly skilled engineer to build new experiences and future technologies. Description As an engineer on the System Experience team, your responsibilities will range from implementing new features and defining APIs to fixing bugs and improving performance. You should have experience developing user interfaces, an excellent understanding of object-oriented software design, good debugging skills and an eagerness to work hard and learn a lot. As our team works cross-functionally with many other groups across our software stack, you should have a good understanding of systems and excellent communication and collaboration skills! Minimum Qualifications Excellent Swift programming and design skills Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills Inter-process communication and systems development experience Deep understanding of optimization and performance issues across OS software layers Preferred Qualifications Experience developing reusable APIs and frameworks At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
