Senior Technologist Laboratory – Specialty Labs – Central Laboratory - Days Position: Senior Technologist – Laboratory – Specialty Labs – Central Laboratory, full‑time day shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) with rotating on‑call weekends and holidays. Location: Weill Cornell campus, Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Job Description Responsible for performing all patient tests, conducting quality control procedures, and standard preventative maintenance in the Special Hematology/Coagulation area. Functions as a working technologist, supervises and coordinates laboratory personnel, performs quantitative and qualitative tests under the supervision of the Lead Technologist and Laboratory Supervisor, and relieves the Lead Technologist during temporary absences. Preferred Criteria At least 6 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist. ASCP certification. Required Criteria Minimum of two years of experience in Special Hematology/Coagulation. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience). New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education Department.
