Staff Accountant Location: Indianapolis, IN Salary: $60,000–$75,000 depending on experience Position Overview Our growing construction company is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role will be responsible for cash application, accounts payable, account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities Apply customer payments and reconcile cash receipts. Research and resolve payment discrepancies. Process vendor invoices and weekly payment runs. Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor records. Prepare bank and balance sheet account reconciliations. Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities. Support financial reporting and audit requests. Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of accounting experience.
