Description What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate results meticulously for reliability, troubleshoot findings, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, participate in training new staff or students, and help maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain relevant certification throughout your time in this role.
