Employment Defense Attorney — Employment Litigation / Employer Counseling Compensation: $150k to $250k Base + Bonus. Location: Hybrid Remote / Tampa. Firm: Nationally Recognized Regional Firm. You’ll handle substantive labor and employment matters for employer clients, advising on risk, defending claims, and managing matters from assessment through resolution across state and federal venues. Advise employers on workplace decisions, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies Defend clients in employment‑related claims, disputes, and litigation Counsel on federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and employment‑related documents Handle or support wage and hour matters, including class action work where applicable Partner with clients to develop practical legal strategies aligned with business objectives Looking for: Florida Bar Admission 2–15 years of labor and employment experience Experience in any of the following areas welcomed: Employment Litigation Employer‑Side Counseling Labor Law / Traditional Labor Wage & Hour / PAGA Class Action Defense Workplace Compliance & Risk Benefits: 10% origination bonus + production bonus starting at $20k for the first 100 hours over the annual billable minimum, increasing by $5k for every additional 50 hours; Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; Matching 401(k); Generous PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays; Hybrid—2 days in office; Work exclusively on the employer side—no plaintiff‑side work, ever; Access to a national client base with deep institutional relationships across industries; Full-service labor and employment platform.
