Re-Bath of New England is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Trainer to lead, train, and scale our field sales team out of our Middletown, CT office.In this role, you will be the primary frontline leader driving daily field coaching, sales training, rep accountability, and recruiting. You will own the ongoing development of Design Consultants across Connecticut, elevating rep close rates, accelerating new hire onboarding, and leading team sales meetings out of the Middletown office. Key Responsibilities

• Field Coaching & Ride-Alongs: Conduct hands-on field ride-alongs with Design Consultants for new hire field development, struggling rep recovery, top-rep scaling, and high-value customer appointments.
  
• Call & Process Reviews: Conduct daily Rilla reviews focusing on discovery, financing structure, objection handling, and close attempts to ensure 100% sales process compliance.
  
• Sales Meetings & 1:1s: Lead regular sales meetings out of the Middletown, CT office and run formal monthly 1:1s with reps to review KPIs, morale, and 30-day improvement plans.
  
• Same-Day Deal Support: Provide real-time support on pricing, financing logic, and objection handling during live appointments, and execute first-level cancel saves.
  
• New Hire Onboarding & Ramp: Co-deliver classroom training and manage post-class field ramp execution, ensuring new Design Consultants meet certification checkpoints before taking self-issued appointments.
  
• Tactical KPI Recovery: Track daily pod KPIs (close %, process compliance %, paperwork accuracy) and implement active recovery plans within 24 hours for underperforming reps.
  
• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: Source, interview, and hire top-tier Design Consultants to standard, maintaining an active candidate bench.
  

Requirements

Schedule & Location Requirements

• Primary Office: Based out of our Middletown, CT office ( This position is strictly dedicated to the Connecticut market; no MA or RI travel required ).
  
• Work Schedule: Flexible operational schedule aligned with field rep activity— anytime the sales reps are working, the ASM is engaged and available to provide real-time support, deal saves, and field coaching.
  
• Meeting Leadership: Once in the role, you will regularly run sales meetings out of the Middletown, CT office.
  

Qualifications & Key Skills

• Sales Leadership Experience: Proven track record in B2C or in-home sales leadership, field sales coaching, or sales training.
  
• Coaching & Process Mastery: Expertise in structured sales processes, discovery, financing presentation, objection handling, and objection closing mechanics.
  
• Tech-Savvy: Experience or adaptability with CRM tools (such as Improveit 360), sales presentation apps (Ingage), financing portals, and audio recording/coaching tools (Rilla).
  
• Recruiting Capability: Ability to identify talent, interview against strict quality standards, and retain high-performing sales consultants.
  
• Accountability & Communication: Direct, dignified coaching style aligned with core values of team collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
