Salary range for this position is $24.00 - $32.50 / Hour. Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance 403b Retirement Plan – Company matched at $1: $1 up to 6% of Annual Salary Employee Assistance Plan Vacation 2 weeks accrued per year initially, then incrementally more with longevity. Sick Leave – 48 hours. Holidays – 12 paid per year. Job Summary Under the direction of the Program Director, will provide outpatient treatment services and implement all program and administrative policies and functions. Responsibilities Conduct assessments, intakes, individual sessions, and treatment planning sessions in accordance with contractual requirements. Evaluate an individual’s strengths and weaknesses and develop a Treatment Plan. Assist individuals, families, significant others, or groups in achieving objectives. Facilitate education groups with beneficiaries. Maintain timely and reliable attendance. Provide quality service to clients as required by Cedar House Life Change Center, State, and County Requirements. Assist in crisis intervention as needed. Provide referrals and resources to beneficiaries. Perform life‑saving measures when needed to protect the lives of Cedar House clients and employees. Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned. Requirements What You’ll Bring Experience Be certified upon hire under an accredited drug and alcohol certification program, CAADE, CADTP, or CCAPP (preferred). Be registered upon hire under an accredited drug and alcohol certification program, CAADE, CADTP, or CCAPP (required). Have at least 1 year of experience working in a residential setting. Education Complete continuing education and trainings as required by Cedar House, County, and State mandates. Completed twelve years of education or have a GED. Maintain current CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Must understand the nature of alcohol and drug addiction and its recovery. Knowledgeable of confidentiality laws, policies, and procedures. Resourceful, creative, and strong problem‑solving skills. Commitment to continued learning and self‑improvement. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Ability to address stressful situations calmly and communicate positively. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move around inside the office occasionally, operate a computer and other productivity machinery, and be able to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds (individually). The employee may also need to climb up or down a ladder or equipment and work around or be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Working Environment The employee is not exposed to weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
