Organizational Change Management Lead for Sourcing - Contractor /1099

Overview Organizational Change Management Lead for Sourcing – Contractor /1099 ISG (Information Services Group) is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead for sourcing initiatives. You will help clients manage the people, communication, and leadership impacts of outsourcing, insourcing, and vendor transitions. This role is remote and based in the United States. Responsibilities Lead small to mid-sized OCM engagements focused on sourcing transactions (e.g. outsourcing, insourcing, rebadging, managed services transitions) Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership on people-side risks and opportunities in sourcing initiatives Design and execute stakeholder engagement plans, communications strategies, and readiness activities for sourcing contexts Develop OCM deliverables such as leak response plans, stakeholder FAQs, HR checklists, notification choreography, and pulse survey assessments Collaborate with client communications and HR teams to align OCM with broader enterprise change programs Contribute to ISG’s OCM IP, tools, and accelerators to drive high-quality delivery Manage and mentor junior team members and ensure client-ready work Partner with sourcing advisors to integrate OCM into deal strategy and execution Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client relationships with professionalism and agility Required Skillsets This is a remote position based in the United States 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in consulting or professional services Significant experience in OCM planning and execution for large-scale transformations, with exposure to sourcing or vendor transitions Strong grasp of stakeholder engagement, change communications, impact analysis, and readiness planning Ability to write clearly for executive audiences and translate complex concepts into practical plans Confidence facilitating client sessions and advising senior stakeholders Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality outputs quickly Collaborative mindset and ability to integrate OCM into broader sourcing advisory efforts Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and Microsoft Office Suite Education Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Change Management, Organizational Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or related field Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contractor / 1099 (Remote) Job function Project Management and Information Technology Industries Information Services At ISG, we don’t just accept difference — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our clients, and our communities.
