Electronics Tester - Camarillo

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Tester for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing electronics manufacturing team in Camarillo, CA. This onsite role is ideal for candidates with hands-on electronics testing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a multimeter in a production environment.

The Electronics Tester will support daily manufacturing operations by connecting electronic units to test equipment, running software-based test procedures, assembling cable harnesses, and helping ensure finished products meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities

- Perform electronic testing on manufactured products according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Connect units to electronic test equipment and execute software-based test procedures.
- Assemble cable harnesses and support production testing needs as required.
- Review work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications, work orders, and drawings.
- Follow ESD, ISO, safety, and quality procedures throughout the testing process.
- Support other production departments as needed while maintaining productivity and quality expectations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Overtime opportunities available.
- Must be available for overtime, including early starts, late shifts, and weekends when needed.
- Work Location: Onsite in Camarillo, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform electronics testing on production units using approved test procedures.
- Connect products to test equipment and run software-based testing.
- Assemble cable harnesses and inspect work for accuracy.
- Read and follow work instructions, work orders, and mechanical drawings.

- Minimum 1 year of electronics test operator experience in a manufacturing environment .
- Ability to read and use a multimeter.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read electronic work instructions, test instructions, work orders, and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced production setting.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Due to federal regulations, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, Green Card Holder.
- Familiarity with ESD and ISO procedures.
- Experience operating flying probe or ICT testing equipment.
- Prior experience in electronics manufacturing, production testing, or equipment operations.
- Experience supporting quality-focused manufacturing environments.
