Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
Coordinate testing and commissioning activities for equipment installation and system readiness.
Overview
The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring execution testing and commissioning activities for the subcontractors. The role involves ensuring detailed checkout and verified functionality checks are performed and documented to meet contractual standards, with industry experience in semi-conductor or data center industries being highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Perform system walkdowns
- Verify installation and system readiness
- Monitor equipment performance
- Document deficiencies
- Coordinate vendors and construction support
- Support turnover and acceptance testing
- Ensure compliance with startup procedures and LOTO requirements
- Educational requirements are not specified
- Minimum of relevant industry experience required
- Ability to perform detailed checkout and documentation
- Strong coordination and communication skills
Background Check and Drug Screen may be required.
