You’ll deploy and configure end-user and network infrastructure at client sites and data centers across the Treasure Valley, manage your own project workload, and collaborate closely with Project Managers, Design Desk Engineers, and vCIOs to deliver outcomes clients rave about.WHAT YOU’LL DOExecute structured IT projects end-to-end — from planning and equipment prep through cutover, documentation, and post-project validationDeploy and configure networking equipment, virtualization platforms, and Microsoft cloud services at client sites and datacentersPartner with Project Managers and Coordinators to stay on schedule and on budget, communicating proactively when things need to flexRepresent TotalCare IT in client-facing settings — project kickoffs, status meetings, and closures — with professionalism and clarityAssist our service desk with on-site and remote support as needed, bringing your technical depth to complex escalationsPeer review proposals and support the Design Desk with technical validationContribute to team standards, training, and process improvement through regular committee and department meetingsMaintain accurate, timely time entries and project documentation so the whole team stays informedProvide on-call and after-hours support on a rotating scheduleTECHNOLOGIES YOU’LL WORK WITHNetworking: switching, routing, firewall configurationVirtualization: Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, Verge OSCloud & Productivity: Microsoft 365, AzureWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR1–4 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in an MSP or project-delivery environmentProven experience with enterprise networking (switching, routing, firewalls), virtualization (Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, or Verge OS), and Microsoft 365 & AzureStrong security awareness — you treat client data and business systems with the seriousness they deserveCompTIA Network+ and/or Security+ preferred; other relevant certifications a plusClear, professional communicator across all levels of a business — from the IT team to the C-suiteOrganized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing several active projects simultaneouslyThrives when things get unpredictable — you stay steady, find solutions, and bring good energy to the teamBachelor’s degree and/or technical school diploma preferredValid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local client site visitsCOMPENSATION$20 – $30 / hour, DOECommensurate with experience and certifications.BENEFITSHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Holidays401(k) with Company MatchABOUT TOTALCARE ITTotalCare IT is a growing managed service provider with offices in Boise and Idaho Falls.
