Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced MedSurg RN to provide high-quality care on a busy orthopedic, neuro, and pediatric unit. This 13-week assignment offers the potential for extension and requires dedication to patient-centered service.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and modify interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and proof of eligibility; pending licenses considered with process documentation.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year recent MedSurg experience; 3+ years preferred for CPU.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV starts and intermediate FM skills.
• Be certified in BLS; additional certifications preferred.
• Previous travel experience is a plus.
• Must provide references, skills checklist, updated NURSYS, and valid driver's license.
