HVAC Technician – Apartment Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join an apartment community!

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems throughout the property, while also assisting with general apartment maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot heating and air-conditioning issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Complete service requests and apartment work orders
• Assist with make-ready and general maintenance tasks
• Maintain common areas and property grounds as needed
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and after-hours/on-call needs
• Provide excellent customer service to residents

Requirements:

• Previous HVAC experience, preferably in the multifamily/apartment industry
• HVAC certification preferred
• EPA certification required/preferred depending on community requirements
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general apartment maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and customer service skills
