MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) in Indianapolis

As an MRI Tech, you will:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using MRI equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly
• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly

A few must-haves for interested MRI Techs:

• Active license within the state of Indiana
• Active ARRT R, or ARMRIT (Either specialty cert accepted)
• 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility
• Experience with Neonates Preferred
• Preferred Skills: Brain, Spine, Abdomen, Pelvis, Prostate, Extremities and Cardiac.
• Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility
