About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for locum call coverage at a hospital-based practice in Pennsylvania. This role involves 24-hour weekday call shifts and 48-hour weekend call coverage. The provider will manage a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic cases in an active hospital setting.

Practice Details:

• Hospital-based OB/GYN call coverage

• Call Ratio: 1:6

• 4 physicians in the practice

• Onsite lab and ultrasound available

• Coverage needed ASAP on an ongoing basis

Obstetrics Responsibilities:

• Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies

• Routine vaginal deliveries (including low forceps)

• C-section decision-making and complicated deliveries

• VBACs

• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology Responsibilities:

• Open surgical gynecology

• Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA, chromal tubation)

• Major operative procedures (ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive LOA)

The ideal candidate is confident in managing both routine and complex OB/GYN cases independently during call coverage.

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required

• Active Pennsylvania medical license or Active IMLC (willing to obtain PA license) – Required

• BLS Certification – Required

• ACLS Certification – Required

• Strong hospital-based OB/GYN call experience

• Ability to manage high-acuity obstetric and gynecologic cases
