Angott Search Group is pleased to conduct a search on behalf of a leading Florida organization for a pharmacist.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL — Fully On-Site
Schedule: 2:30 PM–10:30 PM
Compensation: $130,000–$135,000 salary
Required: Active Florida Pharmacist License (RPh or PharmD)
Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented pharmacist to perform primarily PV1 prescription verification and quality assurance, with secondary PV2 support as needed. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring accuracy, adaptability, and a strong commitment to regulatory compliance.
Candidates must be comfortable reviewing medications prescribed for off-label use. No Schedule II (C2) medications are dispensed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PV1 prescription verification, accuracy checks, and quality assurance
- Provide PV2 support as workflow requires
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, compliance, and therapeutic appropriateness
- Ensure adherence to pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to support timely prescription processing
- Maintain accurate documentation and professional pharmacy standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacist License (RPh or PharmD) in good standing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with off-label medication processes
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented
