Location: Fairmont, CA area

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week
No Weekends
Pay: $44–$49 per hour

Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a supportive care team in the Fairmont, CA area . This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a steady Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends .

The COTA will work under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve daily living skills, regain independence, and reach their highest level of function in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Assist patients with improving daily living skills, mobility, strength, coordination, and independence

• Follow individualized treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist

• Document patient progress accurately and timely

• Communicate patient updates with the supervising OT and care team

• Support patients with safe and effective therapeutic activities

• Follow facility, state, and federal guidelines

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or geriatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused

• Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary care team

License and Certification Requirements

• Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant license required

• NBCOT COTA certification preferred

• CPR/BLS certification required

• Must be able to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

Compensation and Schedule

• $44–$49 per hour

• 35 hours per week

• Monday–Friday

• No weekends

• Permanent full-time position
