Licensed Veterinary Technician

Shoreline Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! In this role, you will provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs. Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication. Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity. Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays (Saturday shifts are 9am-1pm).

• Compensation: $30-35 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
  • Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
  • Assisting in surgery
  • Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
  • Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
  • Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
  • Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
