Middle School Teacher (Full-Time) School: Academy of Mount St. Ursula Location: Bronx, New York Salary: $55,000, with adjustments based on experience Start Date: September 2026 Why Work Here?"With 170 years of educating young women, the Academy of Mount St. Ursula empowers young women to be leaders in service and society." The Academy of Mount St. Ursula, an all-girls Catholic high school conducted in the Ursuline tradition and located in the Bronx is seeking a mission-driven, practicing Catholic educator to teach a combined Grades 7 and 8 classroom. This "bridge" model requires strong differentiation skills and a commitment to meeting diverse learning needs. We are a diverse school community, and we welcome applicants of all faiths. - Foster a supportive, faith-centered learning environment
- Teach ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies
- Differentiate instruction for two grade levels in one classroom
- Assess student progress and communicate with families
- Collaborate with colleagues and uphold Catholic doctrine & values in daily teaching
- Committed to Catholic education
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree and certification preferred
- Middle school teaching experience and strong classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction effectively
