IT Project ManagerAnywhereType: ContractCategory: Program/Project ManagementIndustry: EnergyWorkplace Type: RemoteStandard Hours: OpenSalary: $150,000 to $120,000Description:RemoteOur client seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead an enterprise Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CCB) upgrade. The role will plan, coordinate, execute, and transition a multi-year upgrade from version 2.7 to the latest on-prem release and deliver a post-upgrade cloud-readiness assessment. The Project Manager will partner with cross-functional technical and business teams, a System Integrator, and software vendors to ensure scope, schedule, budget, quality, security, and governance objectives are met.Responsibilities:Lead full lifecycle delivery for the Oracle CCB upgrade, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and transition to operations.Develop and maintain integrated project plans in partnership with internal teams and the System Integrator.Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies.Facilitate communication among stakeholders, SMEs, leadership groups, and vendors.Drive adherence to governance processes, stage gates, and reporting requirements.Oversee testing and quality assurance, including defect tracking and release readiness.Support organisational change management and remove blockers to delivery.Coordinate vendor and System Integrator performance and resolve issues.Lead cutover planning, transition to operational support, and knowledge transfer.Deliver a post-upgrade cloud-readiness assessment and recommendations.Ensure project artifacts are completed and stored according to standards using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.Experience Requirements:10+ years of project management experience leading large, complex enterprise technology initiatives.Proven success coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams and third-party vendors.Experience managing scope, schedules, risks, issues, budgets, and stakeholder communications.Background producing project charters, resource plans, RACI matrices, schedules, risk and issue logs, governance reports, and executive status updates.Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.Preferred: PMP or equivalent certification.Preferred: Experience with Oracle CCB or similar customer information or utility billing systems, including approximately 3+ years supporting CCB implementations or upgrades.Preferred: Experience leading enterprise application upgrades in utilities, energy, public sector, or regulated environments.Preferred: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, SharePoint Online, and enterprise IT governance processes.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.If anyone reaches out to you about an open position connected with Eliassen Group, please ensure that you are working directly with us by confirming the following:When you work with Eliassen Group, all email communication will come from an Eliassen.com address, never Gmail, Yahoo, etc.Eliassen Group will never ask you for personal information (home address, bank account, or check routing number) until you have worked with someone clearly associated with Eliassen Group.If you have any indication of fraudulent activity, please contact View email address on click.appcast.io Eliassen Group: Eliassen Group is a strategic consulting firm that helps organizations reach further and achieve more through our technology, business advisory, and life sciences solutions.
