Wound Care RN (Per diem)

Job Details Job Location: Kentfield, CA 94904 Position Type: Per Diem Salary Range: $65.73 - $80.13 Hourly Position Summary Contributes to and implements the plan of care of assigned patients with wound care needs. Provide education and instruction for patients and families related to the wound care treatment plan. Specific components of the Licensed Vocational Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence, improving quality of care, demonstrating professionalism in the performance of duties and responsibilities, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment, fulfilling role responsibilities and expectations, and developing clinical expertise per specialty. This is a per diem position in our Kentfield facility. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, our approved vendor. One (1) year of experience in wound care required. Certification in Wound Care is required to be considered. Either a WCC or CWCN Certification. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Previous experience working in wound care or demonstrated interest and aptitude in wound care skills. Identify learning needs and teach patients and families. Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals. Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Ability to identify and implement components of the nursing process. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.).
